Skiing the HARDEST rail ever?

Canadian Freestyle Skiier, Max Moffatt, returns to his home-turf at Sunshine Village, AB to build and challenge one of the hardest rails ever to be created.

The idea is simple in: complete a rail, add another, complete it, add another, complete it, add another... to see who can go the furthest. Easy in theory, insanely challenging in real life though.

This is a new take on the classic game “Add On,” taken to the extreme. It features top rail skiers Jesper Tjäder, Hunter Henderson, Max Moffatt, and friends as they keep on adding different-shaped rails to see who can complete the most. Challenge accepted!

Ilkka Hannula - Painful Passion

“What on earth would I be if I weren’t a skier anymore?”

In recent years Ilkka has gone through an injury cycle that forced him to take distance from the sport he loves.

“The worst thing is when something you love gets taken away from you. Without any notice. When you weren’t finished yet.”

Many documented comeback stories simply repeat the idea of getting back quick and strong. In contrast to that, Painful Passion is an honest and personal narrative about navigating through challenges and finding new perspectives.

Metamorphosis

Metamorphosis is a solo project from Thomas Galarneau demonstrating the evolution of a skier through the ups and downs of his process in the streets. First-year in the streets, a dry season, and the factor of having to adjust to the movement around are all part of the equation for the success of this project. This project would have never been possible without the kaleidoscope of Édouard Therriault, Jake Legault, Kam Baid, Zach Boulet, Tristan Steen, Jason Arens, and Samuel Mckernan

Hinterland, An Abasin Movie

HINTERLAND - meaning a place that is on the brink of society, on the edge before the vast wilderness. Which in a sense is this mountain, sitting at the far edge of summit county. Offering some of the best inbounds terrain in Colorado from steep chute powder skiing in the spring to rolling slushy groomers into the summer months, Arapahoe Basin is locally known as the 'center of the universe', and for damn good reason. Here's a compilation of clips we got throughout the 23-24 season, or I should say march through May because thats when the season really starts to get going here at the basin. It was a team effort to stack footage and make this mini movie happen and I hope you enjoy it.
