LALODGE TV Episode #1 - I ride with an NBA player

LALODGE TV is the making of a dream of my best friend #HugoLaugier, mixing up his sport with other universes.

We’ve had the pleasure to welcome #BorisDiaw, living legend of French #Basketball and winner of the 2014 #NBA with the #Spurs 🥇 The complicity between these really showed us we chose the right path to follow for this entreprise. It is a great pleasure that I introduce you to this pilote episode that I hope everyone will appreciate.

Ever since I started practicing Xtreme sports I was attracted by the underground and rebel side of Hip Hop music. This gender was indeniably part of a sport that followed its footsteps as a community.

After years of creating videos with songs from various artists around the globe I finally reached out to one of my favorite artist Awon who agreed to create a song for my next movie #KEEPITREALtheproject. I sent him a full page of ideas on what I wanted to say, what the beat should sound like, how we could handle the shooting, add Nique to the casting, etc…

Couple months later Linkrust came out with a beat that fitted perfectly what I was seeking : a track that would mix up the lyricism of old school Hip Hop and the party vibe of new-school Trap. Something that would correlate with old school ski bums and new-school « Bunch style » skiers.

Il faut dire que « Mishtrouf », communément appelé « Mister Backflip », a dompté Verbier plusieurs fois et a une étoile de champion du monde sur sa veste de ski et un titre de vice-champion du monde dans la poche. Aujourd’hui, le local de La Clusaz transmet son savoir et sa passion aux jeunes : « Je partage mon expérience pour les aider à faire les bons choix. » Dans l’espace joueur de sa station, ils sont une quinzaine à suivre ses traces et ses conseils. Engelberg Bound - Jeremy Pancras

For this last cut of the season we headed to Engelberg - Switzerland to catch up with Fabian Bosch where he invited to ride a big air by 3000 meters + plus on some of the greatest sunsets shoots we ever took part.

We were lucky enough to share these magic moments with passionated individuals and came home with some colorful shots that I hope, you will appreciate. Thanks to the filmers for bringing us some great shots : Robin Terry, Florian Terry and Elmar Bossard.

From living in the wonderland that is Rusutsu to discovering Hokkaido, skiing the great jungle of bamboos, the familial and the steep parts full of mushrooms and broken trees, discovering the softest snow in Japan, touring around the infinite backcountry areas and meeting the smiliest persons in the world : our trip to Rusutsu Resorts was definitely our favorite experience of the trip to Japan we made this past January.

Just came home from 1 month discovering the wonders of Japan where we had the luck to film 3 different edits in 3 different resorts of the Northern Island : Hokkaido. It's been a dream coming true to be able to ski that light fresh powder Niseko had to offer, we tried to film / ski and edit something different that we use you to, it is also the first time I produce a "backcountry edit" so I hope you'll have fun watching :)

While heading to Quebec to join the family for Christmas celebrations we linked up with Dom Laporte and the Not So Local crew to shoot in the streets of Quebec for one month. Semnoz Bound - Jeremy Pancras

At the age of 2 my parents brought me to the slopes of Le Semnoz and learned me what would become later a reason to live. It was important for me to produce a piece in this resort where lots of kids from Annecy and its surroundings come enjoy skiing at its finest.

We had best of times building stuffs we dreamed about once we were kids, driving home from the resort every day and sharing this passion with so many friends. Lots of you guys know that skiing in Mt Hood isn't more about the days on skis than the ones in forest and by the coast. While filming for this third flick of our life in Oregon I wanted to show what it is to live in our "ski bum tents" and bring you the real life experiences.
