This is my entry for the LJ Strenio Re-Edit Contest. I started this edit because I was bored, but it wasn't bad so I am entering it. Please vote for me if you liked it! ( PS ) I don't think anyone will notice but yes I used this song in another edit, and will use it for more. http://woobox.com/wnr6h3/vote/for/5152536
My setup was broken since July but I was jealous of every state getting more then an inch of snow except PA. So I fixed it, sorry about the quality.
We got about 2 inches of snow in PA and I made a little park but all of the snow melted on the hill where the park was. So I took a rail to my backyard and sessioned it for about a half an hour. Enjoy some semi-raw clips.
Yes, I know I used the song from Will Berman's less segment. I used it because the song is great. These are all of my shots from the past week or so at home. Put it in HD
Took out the camera and filmed for about an hour. Reposting because of quality problems
First of all, let me say this is not an experienced skier. He wanted to come along with us to try some new stuff. But you have to give him credit, he tried and tried again. He is also using an old pair of skis with squires on them.
Finally learned my all eight. This was one of my biggest rail goals so really stoked on this. Also enjoy some other shots on my renovated setup. Ended up tearing the ol' groin in the last shot.
In honor of getting a new trampoline soon I decided to move it in front of a tree and learn some new tricks. Despite the fact that the whole video was filmed on a tripod, I got some good shots and even managed to get a poorly landed double backflip. Don't take this edit too seriously.
I recently got a dvx100a and wanted to get some test footage. Still working out the kinks.
This was the first day I got out this season. As many East Coasters know we aren't getting any snow. I finally came to peace with the fact that we weren't going to get snow at Seven Springs. So we rode up to Boulder.
This is by far the most difficult thing I've ever done on skis. This rail is around 4.5/5 feet long.
During camp at snowflex I decided to try this. I decided to take the sketchy one.
It's getting to that time of year where there is nothing else to distract myself from skiing with, so I decided to make this self edit. Let me know what you think.
Well somehow this week I got chicken pox, even though I was vaccinated as a kid. I felt completely fine but couldn't leave my house because I was (and am) still contagious, so I decided to make a little setup. I made this rail and was really happy with it so I decided to film on it and here are some of the clips. Also all of the clips that were shot in the dark were done twice, because I filmed them on another SD card in the morning and the SD card got corrupted and I lost all of the footage, I was fucking pissed and went outside at night to refilm them.
The last time I made an at home setup and posted on NS was 4 years ago; I
was a junior in HS, now I'm a junior in college. A lot has changed but
also a lot hasn't: still love skiing. PS: the rail in my last video was
so much better I miss that triple barrel so much.
