Benny McGinnis and his crew of Carinthia Diggers, including resident wizard of welding Rory Bruder, have been busy this offseason cranking out one new rail per week.
11/11/17 saw the earliest opening on record for Carinthia Parks, with Carinthia locals like Calvin @Lyonslayer and Bennie @Bennie_osnow coming out in full force. Full edit to come.

We blindfolded C-Team skier Calvin Lyons so that he couldn't get any first looks and then had him guinea pig the new Nitro build as it opened today.
Starting this December, on the first Monday of every month we will be showcasing the people behind the scenes that truly make Carinthia Parks what it has become today.
Rob Black is definitely on the top of that list. As assistant manager of Carinthia, Rob has done it all. From building and setting features on hill, operating heavy machinery, to building and innovating wooden features for his all-time favorite park, prospector. His work ethic speaks for itself, he's always lending a hand, and taking the extra time to make sure things are moving and sliding smoothly.

If you've ever been to Carinthia, chances are you've seen Rory Bruder, if not then you've definitely
seen his work. It's all around you in each and everyone of our park builds.
As our head of fabrication, over the past ten years Rory has been responsible for designing and building the majority of the rails, boxes, and other features for Carinthia, as well as other mountains in the Peak Resorts family, such as Hunter Mountain, Attitash, Crotched Mountain and Big Boulder. Beyond that, he has also made a significant and lasting mark on the C-Team over the past seven years with his creative and refreshing style of snowboarding. Whether in front of the lens, behind a welding mask, or just over breakfast in the Cairnthia Lodge, Rory is always doing something new, different, and creative. You can always count on good work and good times when Rory Bruder is around.

With a storm dropping 10"+ Benny and the Carinthia Diggers put in work to get Prospector ready for the weekend.
It's December 14th and we have a full build open on Prospector, with The Farm and Junkyard on the way before the weekend. These guys have been absolutely killing it this year.
Do these guys even sleep? We opened Prospector yesterday, Junkyard and The Farm today, and have more on the way for the weekend!?!?! How is this possible?
With the opening of Nitro this morning, we've brought 5 parks online in the past 7 days. But there's no rest for the weary. We're right back on it over in The Gulch.

Benny and the Carinthia Diggers have been puttin' in work this week to get the Superpipe online for the weekend. That just leaves Mineshaft left to build and then we are at full buildout. I'm gonna toss out the gauntlet here, name one mountain in North America that's offering more than us right now? I'll wait...
Well, it's been a minute, but the boys are back. While we're known internationally for our snowboard scene, what some might not realize is that we've got a core group of skiers here at Carinthia that are consistently throwing down some of the rowdiest lines in the East. To showcase this, we've partnered with Chris DeJohn, who also happens to be one of the Carinthia Diggers, for a series of edits for skiers, by skiers.
