Broke my wrist 3 weeks ago, options were surgery or 4-5 months casted. Opted for the surgery and only had three days before going under the knife. Wanted to make an edit since I'll be off skis for two weeks. Apologies for the loose tricks, this was all filmed in under an hour, in a cast.
Film creds: Drew Agard @dagard_
Music: Rome Fortune - Pheromones
3 seasons worth of 50-50s and tricks that involve 50-50s
h.a.g.s. newschoolers
This one goes out to all my woodchucks out there.
18/19 was a fun season up in Duluth, thanks to everyone who was a part of it.
Thank you Jack Schmid, Peter Lochner, Gordon Buffington, Kendozer, Ben Thelen, Garret Schwindt, Mitchell Kasper, and Dylan O'Connor for filming it all.
Music:
Spark Master Tape - Woodchukk
Ginla - Cub
Myself and Peter Lochner headed up to Giants Ridge in Northern Minnesota for the day with a camera and this is what we got.
John and Joel have found their human spirit at Spirit Mountain in Duluth Minnesota, just 135 minutes north of the Twin Cities!
Newschoolers compressed the hell out of this video when uploading, so here's an HD link with that 60fps:

Shoutout to The Ski Hut for skis and bikes.
A multi-format recap of my ski season with a bunch of special effects to keep you from getting too bored while watching. Shoutout to the Ski Hut and the Train Park for their love! Also, serious question. What is a jump?
Song: Eleven Pond - Watching Trees (I heckin love this song)
Shot Creds:
Mostly Jack esnail Schmid and Drew Ahstrom the ginga rail ninja.
Christian Pike, Burrlybears, and Lucas Green.
Stay funky.
It was their decision, I don't care. I'm going to make you watch my skiing. I can't believe this. I'm so much more talented than any of the other semi-finalists and finalists. On top of that, I worked really hard all season for absolutely nothing. I also work 4 jobs while going to college and being a stay at home dad. Balancing real responsibilities and skiing is so hard. This is utterly ridiculous. Level 1 only selects the people that they are friends with and it's not fair, the superunknown system is rigged. I can't believe I didn't even get semi-finals, do you really hate me that much level 1? Do I need to be trendier? What do I need to do to please you Josh?
Was too beat to ride so I got behind the lens and filmed a few laps with Furin. Shoutout to 4FRNT for getting sticks under his feet this season!
Currently unable to aggressively alpine ski so I went behind the lens. Skeirs: Peter Lochner, Will Smyth, Jack Kellner, Lowell Wolfe, Jimmy Holak, Trevin Olson, Ben Zins.
I posted up at the big down flat down bar and filmed what happens in Minnesota rope parks in the course of an hour.
I spent a day behind the lens in the Big Air Terrain Park at Spirit Mountain. Skiing by Drew Ahlstrom and Joel Tiburzi.
It's the beautiful time of the season where there is not enough snow to open hills, just enough to dink around on.
We all had a jolly good time. Or at least me and lucas and the swandoge did.
Session 1 was one for the books! Campers and coaches alike had loads of fun. Register your spot for the next session today!
Tossed together a bunch of leftover clips that I left out of the season dit. Too many skirpd landings and front 2s
First winter living in Duluth and it was a blast! Thanks to all who were a part of it. Shoutout to Kami for winning my photoshop contest.
Went to Giants Ridge for a weekend and had a great day riding with great conditions!
Right after the celebrations of New Years the coaches at Camp1806 decided to put a video together for y'all. Enjoy!
Kendozer, myself, and friends went skiing at Trollhaugen on Christmas Day! Sleighed some powder and rode the rails.
Only got 2 hits a piece before the phone decided to turn off from the chilli billy weather. Here's what we scored. We had a DQ date afterwards.
The last weekend at camp was a blast. Temps were below freezing for the majority of the weekend but that didn't keep the campers from laying down some heat! Sorry kids, no quads were thrown.
Fall sessions at camp are coming to a close. The dreams of skiing fantasized throughout the dark night of summer will soon become a reality.
I know vertical video is poison but it was the only way to #gettheshot.
It was a great session at camp1806 full of adventures from the digital media department, backcountry zone, and dry slope facility! Hope to see everyone soon!
Music:
Grizzly Bear - Ready, Able
Sounds of Nicolett Island, MPLS (interlude)
Gonjasufi - Ancestors
Found a few clips on my phone from a bitterly cold and windy night when Elliot decided to lay down his signature trick cleaner than I've ever seen anyone do it. Elliot was hands down the most intelligent, friendly, and genuine person I have ever met. Elliot is a true legend. His legacy will never be forgotten.
Rest in Peace
