The idea came from the mystery of our intentions when practicing our beloved sport, urban skiing. Following in the same direction as our previous movie, ?Risky Business?, ?Judgement Call? shows how the mind of the athletes is always on the edge of lacking judgement, making it easy to cross the line. This winter was entirely dedicated to our lack of judgement in all aspects of life. It goes from relationships, health and education to our urban spots and vision.
All that said, we had an amazing winter with the best crew and the best vibes. This movie hopefully will show you how sometimes, lacking judgement can lead you to the great unexpected, and sometimes not so great.
This is the Official early teaser for our 3rd annual movie, also the 5th installment of our webseries of Tomes.
Just a bunch of homies lacking judgement, thats who we are.
For our third Tome, we decided to go play in real snow at a closed mountain. We only had the chance to shoot one day in what we call powder.
(Filmed by: Jessy Desjardins)
For a third year, Laurent-Olivier Martin and Laurent Bilodeau teamed up to create another edit. This year we were lucky enough to have a full park and bluebird days.
This is the second instalment of our webserie. This one is about the park skiing on the east coast. Follow the crew in A day in their life. Our typical schedule of a park riding day..
This is the entry of Laurent Bilodeau and Nicholas Chenard for the Saint Sauveur Mountain Challenge.
Hope you like, and share this edit!
Alexandre Desjardins and Laurent Bilodeau are usually behind the lens, but in this edit, they decided to shoot one another to have the chance to show that they are capable of riding as well. This is the second Filmers Edit and hopefully not the last one.
During the Xmas break in QC, we had tons of rain and cold weather to make sure our slopes were pure blue ice. We REALLY LOVE this kind of weather. This is the main reason of the delaying of the Tome [2] of our webserie, but in the mean time, enjoy Vince sliding on metal and Ice.
Summer came early this year in Whistler, we were blessed with Juin weather in the middle of January. What better way to celebrate it then with some power laps through Blackcomb and Whistler Parks with the stylish skier Vince Chollet? We call it JUNEUARY.
Lip gone wrong. Eric showing you that urban skiing can be hurtful, even for your future kids.
13 Months after breaking his shin in half, Cedrik DP is back out on planks. 13 Mois apres avoir cassé sont tibia en deux, Cédrik DP est de retour sur ses palettes.
This is the first instalment of 5 Tomes. This one is about the Pre-Seasons we have on the East-Coast, where we chase the parks and the fake snow. This is summing up our trip to Killington [VT] in early november and another day at Saint-Sauveur [QC] in the pre-season park. This is the best we could do with what we had, hope you enjoy.
This is the teaser for the first of 5 instalments. This one is called Pre-season and will show you what pre-season is for us on the East-Coast of North America.
Yo, good news! We will be filming with this young gun this season. Just turned 18 and ready to turn the streets upside down. Keep an eye out for him!
It all started so well, but, in the time of a blink, only 2 soldiers were on the east coast and ready to hit the streets, with very little motivation. This is the winter of a split up and injured crew. As usual, beer was on our side during the down times to make us forget about the minimal amount of shot we were getting. With no budget and a lot of determination, we are proud to present Risky Business.
Here is what we have made as the "Bail Segment" complementing our movie. We don't regret anything, and will keep on pushing our own limits. Shot during the making of Risky Business/ 2013-14 urban season.
Season recap of Vince Chollet's crazy winter, before the kneecap insident. Lots of speed and lack of "Spin to win"
With an almost healed kneecap fracture, Vince decided it was time to hit the rails. Got in a few hits before it started to get too painful to handle.
The teaser of our 2013-14 project called Risky Business.
Laurent Bilodeau's winter was taped partly by the members of Twobees Media's crew. Passed the camera for a few laps every now and then to get a few shots, ended up with much more than expected. It's always fun to take a break from filming to ski a little bit, and even more when you get filmed! I'd like to say a big THANK YOU to Vince Chollet, Elyse, Nico, Marie, Mike and anyone who filmed a shot of this video. Motivates alot.
Mike Dandurand and Laurent Bilodeau, producers of Tabarnak Pack and Twobees Media, decided to team up and get decent visual of themselves, proving to people that filmers also know how to ski.
Jessy got to do a few basic ski turns at avila when he came back to the East coast for the week.
On a randomly selected tuesday, part of the crew noticed the bluebird sky and headed up to Tremblant to get some runs and ended up having lots of fun and made an edit.
All the ski shots from the Coorslight Challenge 2014, put in one small banger edit.
One day with the Cat on a late march day. Great flatlight day for jumping. Freshly back from Utah, Vincent shows us how its done.
Two very cold march days, one at Tremblant and one at Avila. We were still out there hot lapping to keep us warm. Thomas slaying both park like it was nothing.
A few days of filming in both BLACKcomb park and WHIsTlEr park, ended up with a few shots! More importantly, had a blast. The riders in order are Nicholas Chenard, Anthony Germain, Marie Donaldson, Liam Upton, Austin DSC, Laurent Bilodeau. Enjoy.
Our training for Sochi 2014 went super well. Near 200 beers, and lots of strong alcohol. I think we are ready. Filmed entirely in Keystone and Breckenridge. We had a blast, and these are our memories. Filmed by: Laurent Bilodeau, Vincent Chollet, Elyse M-Simard and Jessy Desjardins. Edited by: Laurent Bilodeau. Song : Gill Scott Heron - Inner City Blues
A park edit with LOM during his time in Quebec at the ROCKSTAR MSS SNOPRK
Compilation of best shots for the Level 1 FilmerUnknown Contest.
Watch Stanston's team rider Marc Dandurand hit up the Blackcomb XL park in the fog.
Rainy night in Avila's Snowpark led to this. Laurent Bilodeau flipping the roles to side two, the filmer gets filmed. Nothing serious, just alot of fun/beer.
Here is a video recap of the Axis Railjam in Tremblant and a little bit from the Amnesia Shack Attack. We love competitions, but much rather go to the bar.
Through cold and storms, injuries and pain, we managed to make a short movie of what our winter was and our own and unique perception of freeski. Clair de lune is a summary of a whole season of working hard for nothing more than our passion. It was planned as a normal freeski movie, untill the day we realized we had no time as a crew of students to make a complete long movie. From this came the idea to make a short, but unique movie about the winter of the Twobees Media crew. We busted our asses off during the cold nights of winter to provide the best looking stunt shots. The crew was always willing to go hit urban and try over and over even if the past session went wrong. With determined skier full or resilience, we managed to get a few shots of the skiers doing what they do best the way they do it best. Sometimes our courage and determination would get a hit after two or three failed spots in a row, and then we would hit a bar and get our mind off skiing. Was there Pain, yes; injuries, of course; fun, depends; but it all summed up to something we are proud of. Clair de Lune.
