Innsbruck. Hokkaido. Edmonton. Revelstoke. Haines. Queenstown. Stubai Glacier. Many have passed through these places over the last two years; workers, travelers, adventurers...among them was a collection of friends bonded by a shared affinity for chasing snow to all corners of the globe. This group of skiers has come to be known as Legs of Steel, and they?ve been travel companions for a long time.
From their last two seasons of travel, through dedicated production comes a new film, Passenger.
A cinematic journey that spans four continents, it aims to reveal the endless spectrum of emotions and experiences from each location. With the help of Old Man Winter himself, a story is woven through the twists and turns of a season, shedding light on how it feels to be a constant passenger. Starring in the film are LOS original members Paddy Graham, Bene Mayr and Thomas Hlawitschka, as well as close friends Sven Kueenle, Oscar Scherlin, Freeride World Tour star Sam Smoothy and Olympic Gold medalists Joss Christensen and David Wise.
A film about speed, turns, jumps, milliseconds, precision, ups and downs, frustration and relief.
From the award-winning Legs of Steel comes an exciting new documentary that will draw you into the seemingly divided worlds that play out within some of skiing’s most unique and exciting disciplines.
Follow Alpine race legend Felix Neureuther through a testing competitive season full of ultimate highs and lows. Take a ride with Fabian Lentsch and Sven Kueenle as they venture to the nerve centre of freeride skiing in Alaska, and watch on with anticipation as Freestyler Paddy Graham and his gang attempt to redefine gravity with the biggest jump ever attempted.
The start gates and slopes are different, and the rewards may seem wildly contrasting, but it’s all just skiing in the end…right?

It’s often easy to overthink a ski movie and at times the reasoning behind it. The plan was simple. Focus on skiing, go where we want and do what we want. Jumps, lines and deep powder. This is an old school flick, plain and simple. It’s about friendship and freeskiing, one to one with some of the best powder hounds around...

We set out with the goal to create a movie that encompasses everything that goes into making a ski movie, in order to give the viewer a ‘real’ experience of what the the athletes do, an unfiltered view of our winter. The crew not only explored their backyards together but also ventured into the unknown. From Austria to Montenegro, storms were chased with results of glory and failure.
The film is raw and back to the roots of freeskiing.

In 2021, sadly, the ski lifts never opened in the Dolomites, Italy. But when Arianna Tricomi called and invited us to her home mountains, we were quick to pack our bags.. This was a once in a life time experience, meaning skiing closed resorts (on foot of course) and having our own private playground. Join Arianna Tricomi, Paddy Graham and Dennis Ranalter while they explore the picturesque Dolomites.
