Revelstoke

JANKYfilms, TahoeMASSIVE and Mad Trees converged upon Revelstoke, BC mid January to ski the legendary terrain of this Canadian outpost. With at least 4 sleds totaled, skis broken, personal injuries, and excessive poutine consumption, it's a wonder that we were even able to get any footage!

After 4 seasons of drought conditions, the average snowfall of 2016 has been the best winter in a long time. The Janky crew has been waiting for years for the right conditions to come out to this zone, and after a big storm in mid-March things looked perfect. After the new year Tahoe faced down one of the most impressive Januarys on record with numerous atmospheric rivers dumping millions of gallons of rain and almost 300 inches of snow on the peaks around Squaw Valley and Tahoe City.
