Every once in a while I hand the camera over to my buddies and ask them to film me for a lap.

A few laps through the Swifty Park with Poo!

I filmed one single lap through the park with Khai at Big Sky Resort on friday and this is what it looked like. Warm sunny laps through the Swifty park are what makes spring skiing in Montana great. The crew has been crushing it lately in Montana. Watch for my new Big Sky edit in the next week.
Had a ton of fun filming this crew of ladies last week at Jackson Hole. The snow wasn't great, but that didn't stop any of the girls from sending it!

Beartooth Pass opening weekend was really only a partial opening this year due the road closures for snow up top. Rock Creek was the only accessible skiing that weekend. So here's some selfies of some bad and some good skiing.
Here is all my unused footage from my winter filming in the Swifty Terrain Park at Big Sky, MT! Got home from landscaping one night and chopped up some extra bangers from the season. A ton of talented riders in Montana this year that threw down for the camera!
Spent some rad days filming Katie last season in Jackson Hole for the girls do shred session (with corn snow and closing week conditions) and at Big Sky (on what was considered last season as an epic pow day). Really enjoyed shredding with Katie and look forward to more next season! Hope the wrist is healing strong!
I spend most of my time during the ski season with a camera in my hands filming friends. Although, every once in a while they notice my itch to put the camera down and ski. So here's some footage from last year shot by some of my good friends!
The skier in this video is a friend of mine who gave me permission to post as long as I didn't share his name. From the crash, he suffered a mild concussion and a broken femur. I wanted to post this as a reminder to all skiers that it is okay to take it easy and ski like a gaper in certain circumstances. NEVER be afraid to use extreme caution, even if your friends are filming! To this day, I think as a filmer that the presence of my camera may have influenced him to send this chute with so much speed that day. Two summers in a row now I have witnessed serious injuries that have change my outlook on not only the way I ski, but also the way I live. Two summers ago was an even worse crash that left the rider in even worse condition than this, but luckily he is doing well now too. I want this post to leave a positive impact on skiers in that it is always okay to take things slow, even if that means not getting the shot and looking goofy on the way down. Always take into account the consequences that can result from your actions! Ski careful!

Big Sky Opened for one day only yesterday Nov 7 due to the amount of snow we got in Montana this week. Here's a quick recap with Kory Kirby and I. Its crazy how productive you can be with just a single run.

Turtle Tracks, the first of many video projects from all the skiing I've captured in the past three years. The videos include a large amount of footage that crashed on a hard drive a while back that brought all of this to a standstill. I'm glad to say that after quite the recovery, here is episode 1 following the raddest crew in Montana! Huge thanks for the assistance filming Mike Kvackay!
Tracks Part 2 bringing you some classic Montana urban skiing and a very deep day of sledding. Throwback to three winters ago due to the unfortunate crashed hard drive. I'm still working on getting back up to speed on all my footage, but we're getting there! The next episode will be a bit different, it will include three consecutive summers (2014-2016) on the Montana/Wyoming Border!
