Spent a week at the Perrine Bridge in Twin Falls, ID and we had some down time. Nothing more fun then building a huge ropejump. Thanks to some amazing new friends for sharing in the good times! What an insane week, and this was mellow part!
Wilson sending it at DL bliss.... from before any rope was put up, to that conclusion, it was the most skilled and crazy thing I've ever watched, and proved to me anything is possible
Figured out a way to rope swing off the top of the RV...
Had an amazing time shredding with some friends April 1st. Beer, BBQ, shredding, and just having fun.
Starts out with a day at Snowbird in mid March, progresses into a few park shots, and finishes with IFSA Competition footage.
Evan Haines killling it at Alpine Meadows... just watch
A few shots from shooting with Jackson for a day or so. This kid is on fire, and at 15 years old I see him being the best Wells brother yet.
Didn't get too much opportunity to shoot this winter due to a hectic travel schedule, but fortunately some extra POV made it work.
Congrats CDP on winning the SFS Young Gun Award and continuing to impress and improve. I can't wait for next season.
Thanks to MSI for the footage at the beginning, and Drew Lederer with some sick GH4 shots. The rest shot on a Canon 70D and GoPro Hero4 Black edition.
Shot at Snowbird, Telluride, Jackson Hole, Taos.
Music : Blue Scholars No Rest for the Weary
Documentation of the winter, urban, BC, BC jumps, park, all that went on in Tahoe..
Spent the past 2 days shredding with a friend from back home while he was training for an event. Killing it, good luck this winter nick!
Level 1, Tech9, Capital Parks from Mad River Mt, Louie Vito, HeroUSA.org, teamed up with some other sponsors to put together an amazing event. Super sick weekend, figured I'd put together a little something to document. The event was skiing and snowboarding, but unfortunately I didn't have enough batteries or memory cards with me to film everyone. Cheers to Brad Bulzan for bringing home 1500 dollars, and a beer on stage. Was dying the whole time to put on boots, but I'm glad I was able to put this together.
Built a few jumps, had some fun .... after a 100 inch week, so landings were rough
skied for our friend CR .... had a pretty amazing crew, such a good day... miss ya buddy, always
Had a down day filming some BASE jumping at the Perrine Bridge in Idaho with a sick crew. We had nothing better to do and so we built this and it just happened. It was a pretty good fucking time.
Some shots from the early season around Tahoe .... wayy cooler stuff to come sooon.
Braden Schroeder killin it at northstar.... shitty lighting so only filmed for 3 runs or so, hence the B & W for contrast. Use headphones
Set a Blob up on Lake Tahoe to get rad and see how high it's possible to go.
Headed up to Hood River with Mike to get Rad basically. Some of what we spent our time doing
Wednesday was International GNAR day, but not unlike any other at Squaw.... Some good times with some friends, some kids from OVFT, and head coach Jason Dobbs.... and a few pro-call outs
Redid an edit I didn't really like ... wish i had more rail/park stuff, but I was having too much fun
2010 .... Wasn't too stoked on this, or the time I spent on it, so I redid it
Put together some POV for CDP from winning the Young Gun Award and 6th place overall at the Telluride Subaru Freeride Series. Way to kill it kid!
Coogan killed it, and this rail jam is held to raise money for his memorial every year.
"This winter a group of my friends and I are going to travel North America and compete on the IFSA Freeride World Qualifiers.
These past few years have been the time of my life and i would love to show the experience, camaraderie and humor we all share... EVEN though we compete against each other.
This winter, were going to document our adventures and produce some rad skiing footage. This year is going to be a blast so stay tuned."
Set up a few lights, hit a few spots, had a photographer, filmed a little.... it hit -10 degrees, hella cold, wicked fun, check it out
Some shots from this winter in Tahoe. Had a camera case with some footy stolen, so the park jumps are lacking.. but otherwise pretty happy
Had a great time shredding with identical twins Kiernan and Deven Fagan and Aspen at Breck and then Woodward at Copper. Never-ending energy. Unfortunately the weather didn't really cooperate and it snowed the whole week so we skied more pow. The day it didn't snow it was too windy to hit the big jumps weighing less then 100 lbs. But this just shows the fun that was had.
Some extra shots from the past few weeks ... messin around with my friends
Killin it at the Coogan Kelly Rail jam at Squaw Valley 12/12/2010
Took some of the POV shots my friend Aaron and I got the past 2 weeks, and put it to some music. Hopefully the rest soon.
Headed down to Santa Cruz to catch the swell from the storm that brought the West the first 11/12 snow. Pretty sick waves, girls, good times.
Did a little filming with a few friends messing around early season. Nothing spectacular but it was fun! I'm looking forward to some funny and good times this winter following some friends on the FWT and FWQ tours.
Got to spend the winter coaching, traveling, filming, living with, and mentoring this Alaskan kid .... Lives in Tahoe for the winter, grew up in AK.. Filmed at 5 JFT stops, a few local big mt/slopestlye comps, and around the house.... stoked for next winter
Had some downtime while shooting last winter. Kurtis Rix (Amazingimagery.com) is one of the most fun photographers to ever be around and he was messing with this dummy all day. Hope this makes you laugh as much as I was, shitty filming I just happened to pick up a camera to document some of it
2/24/2011 marked the 1 year of anniversary of the passing of CR Johnson. A group of family and friends spent the day cruising around Squaw, sharing memories and good times. Unfortunately the day was extremely windy with almost no visibility, so we were limited to KT-22 and Rad Dog. I figured using some video to document the day through the eyes of Aspen Spora would be cool. Aspen and CR had a special relationship, and it was pretty cool to see a young kid so inspired by such a rad guy. Thanks CR, love ya, miss ya, and thanks for inspiring all of us, and to Aspen, S killin it as always kid..
Two friends came to visit, so we drove to Lodi and went skydiving ... Wanted to get some practice with a new camera, check it out
Skied yesterday for Shane.... one of the shots I got... Thanks for the Pow Shane
