May 21st, judgement day. It was also the VERY last day of skiing this season. With a bluebird forecast and a high of 27 degrees we hit the road and started our last trip of the year.
After a couple hours of editing, this is what I came up with.
Enjoy.

Yes it's mega trendy and eheath hates it but I just got the program and wanted to see what I could come up with. Some clips turned out better than others but the one that worked look pretty good IMO.
My first real outdoor shots with the new set-up. Edited with FCP X.

Liam, Josh and I drove up to the Wakefield covered bridge to do some jumping. It's a super nice spot that we will definitely return to.

Jay-Z and Kanye West-Gotta Have It
As most of you know, slopestyle has been included in the 2014 Olympics in Sochi, Russia. Freeskiing is no longer fun so us skiers now have to train all year to improve our skills and nail the perfect run.
Not wanting to fall behind in the game of progression, up and coming Canadian slopestyle stars Brian Kirsipuu, Josh Harris, Liam Upton and Jessy Desjardins will do anything it takes to stand on the podium. Let the games begin.

3/4 of 103 hits the mountain on a perfect day. Young Rene finally gets a pass for a perfect day on the mountain and almost loses it in record time. Unit 103 would like to thank our sponsors: Avalanche Pizza, Craigslist and Gary.
Late January brought us some of the best snow we have had all season. Low temps and heavy snowfall gave us the chance to explore what Whistler/Blackcomb have to offer.
Sean and I spent the day filming in whis park. This is what we came up with.
After much laziness and procrastination we finally have episode 4 finished! The whole crew descended on Blackcomb, with Gabe, John and Breid dropping some hammers. With the abundance of sun we've been having its been hard to stop skiing and film, but Nick and Liam got the job done. Edited to ASAP with the slower vibe, enjoy us skiing in the sun!
