Posted mid winter but now I added the top angle and a little editing fun.
Par 5 Productions presents from Point A to Point B a preseason edit. It's our first major edit of this season. It was a great time to shot and edit this so hope you enjoy. Shot on- Canon T2i GoPro HD Edited with- Adobe Premiere Pro cs5 Songs- Birmingham by Odjbox The King and All of his Men by Wolf Gang
So this edit is my biggest undertaking in a long time. Since I hurt my shoulder and got surgery I haven't really been able to put anything out since Point A to Point B. On Top of the World recaps a spring that was meager on snow, but Heavenly and Kirkwood had really awesome parks nonetheless. This is my last ski project before graduating high school and it really has been the best time of life. The Par 5 senior crew Marco Gooding, Jason Groffman, Roy Reagan, Eric Kleiner, and myself have become best friends over the years. I don't want to leave out my younger buddies as well Ian Burson, Trent DeGiovanni,Gary Showalter, Nick Forbes, and Bradley Loshbough have been great. Also want make a shout out to Gavin Fitzhugh, Asher Moody, and Chris Whatford for making appearances in this edit. Shot over a couple months in Tahoe the Concept brings you the great times we had skiing together. Location: Northstar, CA and Boreal, CA Shot on Canon t2i w/ Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 Song: Daft Punk is Playing at My House by LCD Soundsystem Like the FB page: facebook.com/Par5productions
Like the facebook page! https://www.facebook.com/Par5productions So I'm back making themed edits again! It was great to try and do something different than the standard ski edit. The Par 5 crew got after it to help make this video come together. Discovery documents a month of skiing. The name has no real significance it just sounded cool to me. Thanks to the riders Marco Gooding, Roy Reagan, Eric Kleiner, Garret Balen, Justin Seyfried (get that shoulder better we need more shots of you bud), and Gary Showalter. Thanks to Jason for helping film a little bit so I could get in front of the camera. Song: Let's Go Artist: Matt and Kim Shot on Canon T2i w/ Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 and Pentax Super Takumar 50mm f/1.4
Been meaning to post this for days. This clip is from a couple years ago of Eric Kleiner cleaning Heart Chute. The season prior he got pretty slammed on it. I will post the original as a video response.
What a winter we've had and more will come. With summer on its way but Par 5 went out with a bang so here it is
Warning not all skiing but I have some ski shots I've never shared before so I wanted to throw it up on NS.
So with summer here I find myself on youtube watching lots of videos and this time lapse video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_xMz2SnSWS4
inspired me to give filming a few myself a shot.
Well here is my first finished project. It displays the Carson Valley in fast forward but yet in a slow way.
Well anyway enjoy and tell me what you think...
This is a POV project that I am working on this season. I often times don't have my main camera and just have my gopro. With a gopro I capture the footage of skiing that I would otherwise not get. Hope you enjoy!
The Par 5 crew heads up to the Sierra Nevadas to shralp some fresh powder, drop some cliffs, and have some straight up fun.
Par5 presents Eric Kleiner going for it at Kirkwood.
Kind of didn't do all the skiing I really wanted to do this year since I hit a tree and dislocated my shoulder. I'm happy to be skiing again ,but I am unable to get all the jump footage I would like to avoid a second time dislocation and surgery.
I left the rest of the song just for a good listen.
Song: Lover's Carvings
Artist: Bibio
This edit was supposed to be longer but we forgot the camera when we went to Boreal the second time. When there was actually more snow and sicker features. I'm still pretty stoked on how it turned out so enjoy.
Song: We are the People (Shazam Remix)
Artist: Empire of the Sun
Haven't made a good edit in a while so I was super stoked to get this one done. This edit recaps late December and most of January fun times. Do a snow dance because we need it.
Gopro at Alpine Meadows and some shots from Heavenly during December and January.
