Spent a few short hours on a medium sized jump at Windells filming the SagaFam
Last November Tim Durtschi, Jermey Estorga and the Saga media team left Salt Lake City and hit the road with Mt. Baker, WA in their sights. The goal of the trip, take advantage of the copious early season PNW snowfall. After 15+ hours on the road they finally made it to the promise land and were met with a heavy early season storm that lasted for all 7 days they were there. During the trip the team was able to capture media for the 13/14 Cook Book. What was truly inspiring about the trip was the cohesiveness between the two sides of the #sagafam team, Durtschi and Estorga worked together creating media and fueling each other to look at the mountain through a different lens. Durtschi Diaries is back with a new intro and new footage from filming at Brighton Resort and guardsman pass nearby. Brighton got some great snow in December and we took advantage of the easy access side-country. I was lucky enough to get some sled days in Guardsman pass and shoot with Galen Knowles. With a promising early season park setup, #sagafam John Kutcher and Tim McChesney loaded up the Saga Truck and headed south to Brian Head Resort. The unexpected snow storm only left the crew with one day on-hill but that was all it took for them to dust off their park game and film this edit. This also happened to be Kutcher and McChesney's first day back on snow of the season.
