Despite a few days of snow and fog, session A went off at the Camp of Champions! From two fresh new jump lines, tons of rail line options, the COC park was slayed by campers and pros alike during Camp A.

This is the 23rd summer of The Camp of Champions. Water Ramps - 1970-2011 RIP
After driving straight from the MSnow factory in Michigan with a last programming check in WI, "The Launcher" hit Whistler yesterday about 3. After a five hour build and double check it was time to send the first guinea pig (Adam Schrab - One of the inventors) down the ramp to usher in the future of learning slopestyle.
Being tired of the whole "Water Ramp" thing where you had to hike up 15 stories of stairs on every hit, then get soaked, we figured we could come up with something better, that let you get more hits in a day, stay dry, work for snowboards and skis as well as most importantly... have more fun.
The Camp of Champions partnered with M-Snow to make the first fully adjustable "Launcher for dryslopes. The Launcher has been designed so that you can dial in the exact speed you want, and to have a progressive pull so that upon the operator hitting the "Launch Button" you are smoothly pulled up to the desired speed so you have the highest degree of control going into the jump so you can learn faster. Sensors detect the load placed on the pull so a 200 pound person can be followed by a 100 pound person and they bothe receive the correct pull for their weight. Water Ramps RIP.

Zac Moxley was at The Camp of Champions with Andy Partridge and Braedon Wheeler. We had a session filled with rain and snow. We also had a week filled with mad sessioning on all the lines. The miniramp was firing as well.
"WEEKEND WARRIORS" the Camp of Champions weekly contest on Facebook. Every Friday morning until the end of March, we will post a WEEKEND WARRIOR Ski clip and a WEEKEND WARRIOR Snowboard clip on our Facebook profile. Check out the clip, hit your local park and get your friends to film you throwing down your version, post it onto the COC fan page in the "Videos By Others" section and then post it on the COC fan page wall and then get your friends to "like" it. No editing required, just post your clip. The tricks range from "Anyone can do them" to "Hard" so no matter what your ability there will be a week that you could win. Don't forget to get your friends to add themselves to our posse on the fan page too. We appreciate it.
