We visit Liberty Skis athlete Max Moffatt in his hometown of Caledon, Ontario, to see what it is like to grow up skiing in Eastern Canada. The project reveals a behind the scenes look into where everything started for the 18 year-old Canadian National Slopestyle Team athlete.
The journey begins in Max's back yard at Caledon Ski Resort. The resort is home to a tight-knit group of of die-hard skiers, including the Moffatt family. Moffatt spent his early days learning to ski at the hill, and then later joined the Caledon race team. The resort plays a huge part in the love and passion that Max has today for skiing.
After a few days at home, Max headed to Mount St. Louis Moonstone. What the resort lacks in vertical feet it makes up for with the world-class terrain park; it is home to some of the best skiers in the world.
Max ended his trip by stopping at Blue Mountain Resort for a day of spring skiing. Follow along with us as Max shows us everything that Ontario has to offer.

The West Coast Session is one of the most unique ski events held annually in May at Mt. Hood, Oregon. We met up with Liberty team riders Teal Harle and Max Moffat in Vancouver and made the trip down the coast. West Coast Sessions is the last event of the year where the best park riders from around the globe gather. Everyone gets together and sessions one of the best spring parks for a week. There are no judges, no officials, just a good group of friends that love skiing. This is our favourite event of the year and we are stoked to be a part of the very last West Coast Session. We hope you enjoy the video recap of our time in the Pacific Northwest.

The Liberty Skis team met up in Rossland, British Columbia in Canada, where a large, looming storm was expected to hit the Selkirks. Kootenay Pass is a backcountry haven nestled between the towns of Cranbrook and Nelson. The area is home to vast amount of easily-accessible ski touring. We met up with Fritz Keller, a legendary local guide who knew the region like the backside of his hand. The intention was to spend two weeks traveling around Calgary shooting urban. Due to a Chinook causing a warm front to roll in, the the crew was quickly sidelined. As they waited for the next the snow fall, they decided to travel to Canmore in hopes of hitting more spots. After several successful days in Canmore, the crew decided to pack up and head North to Edmonton. Edmonton welcomed the team with warm weather and just the right amount of snow. After a couple productive days and some fun nighttime rope tow laps, the team headed back home to Calgary.
