What does it take to become the MASTER SHREDDER?!?! A heart of gold, skills of a Jedi, and the power to believe in yourself...and by golly that's exactly what this year's winner Michael McGuire has coursing through his human veins. Sure, technological cheat codes from another dimension can help you achieve greatness sometimes, but for the 10th Annual Master Shredder, staying true to the human form was more in line with the soul shredding vibes of the day. Thanks to Steve Janisch, Pinewski's, Armada, Dalbello, Monster Energy, Arsenic Anywhere, Smith Optics, Trollhaugen Troll, Colab, Marker, Otto Walta, and aaaaall the humans who came out for this momentous day of skiing with friends in the sunshine. New to the LINE Skis team last season, Garrett was incredibly quick to impress our internal crew, along with fellow team members, with his effortless pillow popping style and huge bag of tricks. From charging down the steepest faces to bouncing from pillow to pillow and boosting hand drag 3's and cork 7's off of huge cliffs, Garrett had one heck of a 2021 season, even with some injury setbacks, but ya wouldn't even be able to tell that there were setbacks from watching this video, now would ya?
A short edit that I made for the Kevin Salonius Summer Rail Challenge. Filming this was extremely fun yet challenging because of several setbacks including breaking the tail of one of my skis at the beginning of the summer! Enjoy......

Ahh Spring Break. For us, Spring Break doesn't look like some all-inclusive resort in Mexico. It looks like hot laps in the park, filming with friends, and having a whole lot of fun while doing it. Supporting the next generation of female skiers and riders. Coalition Snow sets out to change the ski and snowboard industry again with the introduction of Coalition YOUth.
From our first turns we were passionate about skiing and riding. Whether it was earning a hot chocolate after our first blue square or chasing our friends till the lifts stopped turning we knew the mountains would always have a special place in our minds and our hearts -- but somewhere along the line the sport starts to feel like it's about keeping up with the boys. It stops being about challenging oneself and starts to be a competition.
According to the Women's Sport Foundation, girls begin dropping out of sports at twice the rate of boys starting at the age of fourteen. What if instead of comparing themselves to the boys, girls were encouraged to chase their own goals and values? Coalition Snow is shifting the narrative and building a community that pushes girls to achieve their own dreams and goals both on the mountain and in their lives.
Coalition Snow is building more than equipment, we're building the next generation of women who share a passion for adventure and a love of the mountains. We're building a community of women who inspire each other to refuse to accept the status quo, push their limits, and create positive change in the world.
Like our adult line of skis and boards, Coalition YOUth gear is designed specifically for young rippers and built with the same high quality materials. This isn't just about planks of wood. It's about showing our girls that they can be anything they want to be. We're sending a message to young women that it's not about keeping up or going bigger, it's about finding joy in every turn, creating your own rules, and claiming skiing and snowboarding as your own sport.

RCFS is a video series created by Will Wesson and friends to take their DIY setups to the next level.
"Growing up, my home mountain never had the best setups, so we had to take matters into our own hands. The do-it-yourself attitude led me from the backyard into street skiing and now it's come full circle with RCFS," says Will.
Working together with Wasatch Academy, Will is learning to weld rails and drive a snowcat to create unique setups built by skiers for skiers.

Last spring, we (the desk jockeys stationed in Seattle, WA) traveled over the pond to Crans Montana, Switzerland with 10+ of our North American athletes to meet up with 10+ of our European athletes. What came of it was one of the best team shoots in the history of our brand. Crack a bevy, kick back, and watch 11 minutes of our team hot lapping Alaia Parks in Crans Montana in Chicken Sedan.
