My name is Andre Moreno Hamm and I am a Costa Rican Slopestyle Skier and 2018 Winter Olympic Hopeful. I grew up in Boulder, Colorado with a Costa Rican mother and an American father who taught me to ski at a young age. Every year we would go to Costa Rica to visit family and explore the mountains and beaches of the country. From these trips I developed a great love for Costa Rica and started to feel like a true tico. My slopestyle and competitive skiing career began at Winter Park when I was fourteen years old. Since then, skiing has become my greatest passion. It has pushed me to do things I never thought possible and taken me to incredible places all over the world. I am so excited to have the opportunity to do what I love everyday and chase my dream of representing Costa Rica at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang! andrehamm
