after four years of nothing but pain in my old lang comp 130's i have fallen for this boot, not once this season did i have to use my boot heaters to prevent frostbite in the frigid Minnesota winters.
Performance
this boot performs, wither your charging down steep chutes, ripping the hard pack or floating through the pow the boot can and will do anything you ask it to do.
Design
the design is a great, i love how i can see through the boot. the buckles were very functionally designed and have held up very well to repeated abuse. plus the colors are sick, if you want a better view, check out my bump pics on my profile.
Value
this boot is ridiculously expensive, however as i spend 70+ days a season in my boots, i feel that i get my moneys worth out of them because i finally have found a boot that i can spend repeated 8 hour days in.
Fit
this boot fits my foot wonderfully. i have a large last with pronation in the toes, this makes boot fitting virtually impossible for me. i have never in my life found a boot that fits perfect on the first try until now. the only thing i need to change is that after a season the liners have packed in nicely i just need to move my buckles in board to take up some extra space.
Characteristics
Nordica designed this boot for the all around hard charger and i love it. it has two flex settings a 120 and a 110 (however this should be taken with a grain of salt as flex index is relative to the company). i can place it on the stiff setting and have a great hard charging race/mogul boot or i can put it on the softer 110 and cruise park all day with out a care in the world. on both settings the flex is very progressive and smooth. making for a comfortable boot i can ski in all day long .
Durability
as stated above these boots have taken abuse like a champ, asides from a couple of scrapes in the pain, they look almost brand new.
