Overall
Planet Earth knows their stuff, Ill buy gear from them any day just based on these pants.
Performance
I never had water get through these pants once in an entire season of pnw weather despite their meager 10,000 mm rating. Actually, I did feel some dampness in my knees on saturday come to think of it, but after a 45 minute bootpack lead, so I'm not too dissappointed. My goretex pants leak faster than these, no joke.
Design
I don't know what the fabric they use is, but it's genius, its super canvassy and rough on the outside, so I never worried about them ripping no matter how many times i fell on rails. not only this but you can wash and dry them with a machine, because its not a coating that keeps them waterproof, its the fabric itself. pretty cool in my opinion
Value
I got them for 75 dollars over the summer, and considering Ive gone through pants easily 3 times as fast Id say it was a great investment
Fit
I'm 5'9" and I got a medium, definitely a baggy pant, much bigger than a sessions medium you would buy, but the waist elastic allows me to not have to worry about a belt. Fits comfortably right around my boots.
Durability
Most durable pants I've ever had. waterproofing holds up awesome, I did rip at a seam with my brakes in a fall, but I just sewed it back up and they're fine, didnt effect the fabric at all.
