Overall
If you are looking for a ski to charge on, powder or not, this is it. Blows through crud, and is super light weight, lighter than anything else out there of this size. 109 under foot, plus they have a big 9 on them. what could you not like about them.
Performance
HARDPACK/CRUD: The ski excells in chopped up snow. The skis nose blows right through any and all crud. The ski doesn't chatter when going as fast as i can. it holds a great edge for being as wide as it does, and the more speed it has the better it takes long turns. don't plan on taking any short turns to quick unless you want to skid them out.
POWDER: Well, they float, that's for sure. super playful and poppy in the powder for some reason. These skis were built more for charging than glades and covered groomer fun, but they do a decent job at both. Switch is lovely. No hangups, no back foot drag when turning. AGAIN, a very stiff ski, but when there's no one around it blows through open snow like nothing else. A perfect combination for someone like me who wants a stiff wide ski to play around anything on.
Design
Decent sidecut. Nothing too dramatic, don't expect to get lizzie performance out of them, but they aren't that slow either.
Value
You get what you pay for.
Characteristics
Super stiff. there is no give on them and i have them mounted at the center line. I'm also pretty big (6'3, 180 pounds) and i can't flex them unless i'm going fast.
Durability
I haven't really abused these, but they are great. Bases are great, no topsheet chipping. No graphic fade, delam, edge, or sidewall damage.
