I rated the gloves a 9, but they are one of the best gloves I've ever owned. I would suggest them to almost anyone, especially if they needed a glove that keeps them warm and can hold up to years of abuse.
Performance
They perform VERY well, except for when they get wet. I never put the given pouch of leather balm on them, so I'm not sure how good it is but probably better than nothing. Next time I will try it out for sure.
Design
The gloves are really nice, they are all leather (two different types) on the outside with a removeable wool liner on the inside.
Value
They retail amazingly high,(like $130 high) but if you can catch them on sale they are well worth it.
Fit
I personally really like the way that these gloves fit. I got them in a 9. If you are between sizes I would suggest going to the lower one, because they do pack-out after some use. The gloves also have formed to the curve of my fingers, which is nice when holding poles.
Durability
These gloves held up way better then I expected. After a full seasons use, they are still in amazing shape. Since they are white, they do stain fairly easily, mostly just a color change from dirt.
