Overall
Helly makes some good shit, and at a good price. Id reccommend these pants, but a little bigger.
Performance
These were great pants for the season. A little thin, but pretty warm. I usually wore two pairs of long underwear on the cold days (10 degrees F or lower), and only one pair on warmer days. The mesh vents worked great on spring days, and they are a tough pant that are made well. Almost none of the threads came undone, everything maintained really well.
Design
I love the color of these pants, and the simple design. Two front slant pockets that are good and big, big enough to hold everything i need. One side cargo pocket and one back zipper pocket. Zippers were very durable and held up well. The pants could have sagged a little more and the bottoms felt sort of tight at times around a boot, they could use some sort of zipper down there.
Value
These pants were great for the money, i paid about 120 for them.
Fit
I bought these in a large, and now I kind of wish I bought them xl instead. The large felt big at the time, but after the winter I wish the bottom of the pant was a little bigger so it would fit over my boot easier. Overall, the sag wasn't bad though.
Durability
Really durable. They've got the normal scuff and tiny tears on the inside of the leg from my boots, but even that little damage didnt show up until pretty late in the season. I wore these pants a good 50-60 days this year, and they've held up incredibly well for what I put them through. I've also been good about remembering to roll up the bottoms when Im walking around in sneakers, so theres virtually no damage to the hem.
