These skis are fire! Crud, powder, goddamn wet bc powder, these things tare it up. I've also turned them into my uberbooter skis which is working well. I've skiid them over a hundred times this winter and loved everyday.
Design
The reflective graphic of the gotama is pretty sick to say the least. Rather than shiny laminent, volkl through on a matt almost rubber like material over the top of the ski which is niiiic.
Value
Goddamn expensive though. I mounted marker 14.0 comps on them which has helped control them. It's a $1000 setup but its totally worth it.
Characteristics
This is one stiff motherf****r. Strong wood core provides a ride that is the rock solid gotama. The tips though do provide enough flex to butter off booters.
Durability
They've held up real well. The topsheet has a tendancie to flake off a bit but its no big.
