Overall
Overall i really like the Silencers they are a smooth ride and a good all mountain twin tip, that also do great in the park.
Performance
The SIencers do perform well in the park and all mountain but to a point, if you start to push them onto the harder trails there performence does seem to decrease.
Design
The silencers have a nice feel to them, cant say much more then that, because they wern't excellent but they were smooth for all mountain and small park riding.
Value
Don't even remember how i got them, i think i payed cheap for them through a buddy at a ski shop so i guess its good value.
Fit
I ride 159cm and they are perfect for me, short, but as the silencers are they are very light and excellent for the mid air movement.
Characteristics
The K2 Silencers have some pretty good flex to them, at high speeds it does get a problem because they do tend to raddle a bit. They are good beginner twin tips to start on.
Durability
Overall the Silencers are pretty strong but they do get beat up, i havn't had any major cuts into the skies, but the edges seem to get alot of small knicks easily.
Overall
The skis are an amazingly fun ski. I would definately recomend them to anybody looking to get their first pair of twins. I only feel that they deserve a 7 because the lack of durability of the top layer and the floppyness in crud.
Performance
The ski is advertised as an All-Mountain Twin but i would not say that. This ski is better for park and urban. It works great on groomers and pow, but once you get the late day crud, they tend to flop around like a wet noodle. Like i said, they have great pop on them and i love them just for that.
Design
I like the design of the silencers, especially the matte black top. K2 in the crosshairs on the tips and the pistols on the tails are a gloss black and they stand out on sunny days.
Value
I spent 450 for the ski, bindings and mounting and they were definately worth the money. These are a great ski for somebody looking to get into trick skiing.
Fit
I have the Silencers in 169. They work pretty well for my size. I might of gotten away with a 179 but it was mostly a choice based on preference.
Characteristics
The silencer has a very poppy feel to it. Great for rails and boxes.
Durability
My skis have a hell of a lotta scratches and dings and cuts. The top layer gets really beat up from crosses. I've got a couple deep gashes were you can actually see the wood core of the ski.
