I own the Line Transfert version and i was really impressed with this boot. Very comfy boot and the flex is soft.
The only thing is the plastic snowboard style buckle which crack and break in the cold. Also, snow enter between the buckle and the strap, pack into ice and it can be hard to unlock it after because the buckle is stucked.
The walk/ski fonction is the best. When you begin or finish the day inside the shack, unlock it and you walk easily. I had to drive once with them. The walk fonction made it way easier.
It's the first time that i have a boot i don't want to change after a few winter and i would like to keep them a long time. Never had shin problems with it.
Overall
The way these feel is awesome, they just bleed performance.
Performance
These perform with the best. They are great for attacking anything and everything. The one time I feel like they are tough to ski is when trying to spin, I find my foils are easier to carve off the lip on.
Toe box is also questionable in terms of warmth.
Design
They look nuts and old school but they show up people all over the mountain.
Value
Gotta look but the deals are there on these.
Characteristics
The flex is consistent, the way the shell flexes is smooth and prevent shin bang. They are much stiffer than my 2006 Foil boots and slightly stiffer than my 2005 X-Wave 10s. The comp piece that sits on the outiside of the tongue is what makes these stiffer than the other flexons. The flex is unlike any other boot is terms of consistency, no suddens stops in the flex.
Durability
Pretty tough boots. Very Light too.
