Overall
Overall, the 2007-2008 PE's are good but come up lacking in too many area's to be really good. It really makes me mad that they are still so fragile I wouldn't have bought them if I thought K2 still had problems with being able to keep the topsheet from being so soft. Other wise a good but not great ski.
Performance
Performance wise, it's a mixed review. On groomers and powder they are solid, quite a bit above average for twins on groomers. In the park though they could be alot better. The skis are really heavy, and they don't make spinning easy.
Design
I really like the look of this years PE's the red and black contrast nicely.
Fit
For me the 179 cm's are a little long. With a softer ski they would have been just right but the Public Enemies act longer than they are.
Characteristics
The flex on this ski is (atleast for me) non-existent, they are really stiff and no matter what K2 says on their website about them being stiff in all the right places and flexy enough in spots to butter I've got to disagree. However they are all mountain skis and not park specific... so it's to be expected.
Durability
Durability is the one thing that the PE's are lacking on. K2 says they have made the topsheet more durable, this is bullshit, if they have it's not much. The topsheet is really soft and just knocking your skis together will leave dings and chips in them.
