These skis are awesome. I only have four days on them but I have enjoyed every minute. They are playful in the pow, and if you are a good skier, moguls are not an issue. They rip on groomers and cut through lots of shit. I will not lie, these skis are massive and heavy, but don't let that turn you away from these. Right now they are paired with Rossi 120's
My first day I rode them was at Breck. The snow was soft and these things were awesome. I couldn't have asked for anything more except some more energy. as they day moved on we started to get up in to more tight trees and natural features on the mountain. I also managed to make friends with a few 1460030 rocks, nothing a little P-tex can't fix. My second day was quite similar, just with a little more snow.
My third day on these was ai A-Basin and let me tell you, i've never had a better time. The vibe there, paired with my skis and friends was pretty stunning. We were in some pretty hairy moguls towards the skiers left and did pretty well. I'm no Chris Davenport so obviously i'm sure someone can do better than me, but I digress...
My last day on these was back at Breck with about 4" of Fresh. We hung in-between Peaks 8 & 9 off the 6 Chair as Imperial was closed. There were fresh tracks to be had and the Subs were chomping at the bit.
Sparknotes: Good skis, rip well on Groomers and even better on Fresh. Also they rip through shit which is nice.
A very fun ski allowing for quick and efficient maneuverability through trees and powder of various depths. Very stable, and easy to carve with.
Not the most aggressive camber underfoot, but just the right amount of tip/tail rocker to facilitate popping and floating whether you're in 6 inches of powder or 6 feet.
Design (topsheet) is clean and simple yet intriguing. Moving the eye up and down the ski. The base is Revision's signature spelled out base, allowing for easy brand recognition.
A semi-heavy powder ski, I have mine mounted with STH's which are also a relatively heavier binding, but the skis themselves gave my arms a workout walking from the parking lot to slopes. Not all too difficult to jump while skiing however.
Along the lines of flexibility, these skis facilitate a little more fun with the ability to to flex more than some other powder skis, despite being a tad heavier.
