I had this hoodie while riding in Park City, Utah last Spring break. For those of you that don't know, last year in PC it was around 40-50 degrees at the base of the mountain every day. I wore this hoodie with a shirtsleeve under it, and was very impressed. This is by far the best spring riding hoodie I have ever had for a number of reasons. One key aspect is the thumb holes. You may be thinking, why would thumb holes be important? Well if you've ever fallen in slush and gotten road rash, then you know why. The thumb holes make it impossible for your sleeves to get pulled up when you fall. The material was also not Saga's usual water retaining cotton. At the end of the day it was almost completely dry, due to the Polyester used. This helps with keeping the water off, not on. It was a nice hoodie when paired with a tshirt in 40-ish degree weather, so if you wear it with a hoodie or down jacket under it could definitely be a good early season hoodie. The inside was very comfy, and could be a nice street wear hoodie. It was somewhat breathable, more so than any other hoodie I have worn, but keep in mind it is still a hoodie and will not exactly be the most breathable piece of clothing. All in all I would say that this is the ultimate Spring riding hoodie because of it's water repelling and light weight warmth.
