Now I've mentioned in a prior review that I'm a convert to the new Tyrolia Attack bindings. But the STH and more recently the STH2 would be my money no object choice.
With durability improved in terms of both the brakes and the toe wings over the original STHs, these are quite simply the binding to beat. Utterly dependable, timeless design.
The downsides are that they are a fair bit heavier than the Attacks, more expensive and have a higher standheight. Now those can be good things for many people but for me, they've led me to the Attack camp for day to day messing around.
But on my charging skis, the ones I really need to depend on at the edge of control, it will always be the STH2. I'm not 100% sure as to why, but I just trust them that extra inch.
