My thoughts:
These are easily the best mittens I've ever worn. I really have no desire to wear a different pair of mittens or gloves. They're super warm, I've only ever closed the zippered vent twice, I've had it open during sub zero temps and my hands still stay warm. The fit is perfect, they're no bulky, they're light, and they work well. The removable leash comes in really handy, I'm always taking them off on the lifts to look at my phone or whatever and I'm never worried about losing a mitten. The inside of the mitten is just one open space for the 4 fingers, I hate those divided fingers mittens...what's the point of wearing mittens if you're just gonna make the inside like gloves. Super comfy fleece inside and super grippy palms add even more to these mittens. All in all, it's a great mitten for any type of skiing.
