Lebent's LeSock (or Le Definitive Ski Sock as their website refers to it as) is a newer entry into the high-tech sock market. It has something to prove as it is a competitor to the well known brands such as Smartwool. Le Sock is made of a blend of Merino Wool and Bamboo, and offers in my opinion superior moisture wicking properties than that of their competitors. After long days on the mountain, my feet are usually a bit damp from sweat and don't smell too nice. Lesock kept me dry and fresh all day. This comes at a cost though however as I found Lesock to be slightly less warm than similarly priced products on the market. This is possibly because they are a bit thinner than the socks I am use to, but it is worth mentioning. Lesock also offers some compression and support qualities as well, although with any sock I am generally hard pressed to notice the support once I am out on the mountain.
I feel LeSock is an excellent entry in the high-tech sock market, but is much more useful on warmer days (25f+) than on bitterly cold days. These will be my go to pair for early and late season with out a doubt.
