This is a killer cold weather jacket. I got it for those cold, snowy blizzard days, when you're sitting on the chair wishing you got a warmer jacket. I kind of forget what that feels like though, at least since I've owned this jacket!
It is really warm, and completely waterproof. In fact, the level of waterproofing actually really amazed me at first, and is something you really need in the cold.
The style is awesome, a longer fit that isn't too wide. Again, this is the perfect size for insulating and really helps this.
Some of the useful features in this are the HUGE pocket that is located on the outside, hidden by the zipper cover flap. I believe this is called a napoleon pocket, and it is sooo useful. I bring water bottles, keys phone everything in this. I even managed to quite easily fit an ipad into it, although I don't tend to ski a lot with one.
I haven't really got anything wrong with this jacket at the moment. It is a bit pricy, but the quality is really excellent, as one would expect of a company like quicksilver.
I will update this review if anything comes up in the next season when I continue wearing it.
