Skied a full season on these boots and after a few minor tweaks can't say i had any issues and generally found them to be pretty comfortable.
Coming up at a 98mm last i found my left foot had a little pressure on the 5th met head, a shell punch and a custom sidas footbed cleared this issue up completely. i also found a had slight shin bang, once I did up the top and middle buckle a little more i found the shin bang went (i think the problem was that i have relatively skinny calves, so i didn't have even pressure on my leg).
The 3 piece shell allows for a really nice flex and at 110 they offer enough stiffness to hold up charging on and off piste and also riding big features in the park, they are not so stiff that cruising and hitting small features is uncomfortable though.
The narrow heel provides really good heel hold when combined with a footbed. The 3 buckle design really allows you to lock your foot into the boot and get a precise, performance fit.
I found the kr2 core ran pretty true to size. i personally measure up as a 28.5 unweighted and almost a 29 weighted, i shell checked with about 1.5cm in a 28.5 and found in a 27.5 my toes were crunched against the front even with a custom footbed.
