When it comes to durability, Bamboo is extremely strong. I rode with Panda poles in the park for an entire season, taking some hard bails, and the poles would come out okay. (2 winters ago, broke 2 sets of poles). The grips and baskets showed little signs of wear and tear. The grips looked brand new.

These poles were definitely really cool for about a season before i snapped them each in half. Granite I beat the sh*t out of most of my poles they're not as durable as they're cut out to be. I would buy them again though if the price went down.
