Demo'ed these out in the Beartooth's and am fairly certain I'm going to buy a pair. Super stable and blew through everything I rode over, don't think I've ever enjoyed riding a pair of skis more than these guys.
Ratings:I got some time on the Kartel 106 at Beartooth Basin and I came away wanting it as my one ski quiver. I did not get to ride any pow with it so my one reservation is its soft snow performance. Otherwise I found it very impressive. It was easy to turn and felt very nimble but was also capable of laying down a mean carve. It fell into that sweet spot of stability and maneuverability where I never found a speed limit on it but I never felt like I was trying to turn a tank either. It is skinny enough to not feel idiotic in the park but fat enough that I feel like it should be able to handle some decent pow. If I get a chance to ride the Kartel's in some different snow I will update this review, for now they are on my short list of favorite skis.
