I'm pretty 'meh' when it comes to the SPK series from Salomon. These are entirely made simply as a park boot. Do not buy these if you're spending much time outside of the park. They're great if you live in the midwest and only lap park lines, but if you ski anything else? Probably pretty mediocre in those cases.
These are very wide, very soft boots. They are very upright in their cuff angle (I assume to make them better for switch riding). They are not extremely light, nor heavy. Pretty average really. The two buckle design doesn't give you a lot of adjustability on the shell tension over your foot. The liner is fine. Nothing special really.
These are extremely wide boots... well over 100mm last no matter what Salomon tells you... They are not going to fit you tightly EVER, and those guys with narrow feet, or who require a tighter fitting boot will not be impressed with the buckets these things will be as your feet slide around in them.
If you have a fat ass foot, or just ski park, go for it. Otherwise? Pass on the SPK.
