Performance
The jacket is gore tex so it's about as waterproof as it gets. Wore it in days when it was dumping rain and it held up just fine, the water droplets just slid off. As a shell it's really great, no complaints here. It did it's job and did it really well. It's a bit stiff as most gore tex products are, leading to not a lot of flexibility, but it kept my dryer than the saharan desert so no complaints here. Plenty of pockets and the zips give more than enough ventilation as there's no mesh or anything under them which I thought was a bit weird, but with a cotton hoody underneath it's actually super great haha. The seams are also fully taped.
Design
The pictures make it look a bit weird, but the colorway is actually really sick in person. It's clean and looks good, no complaints here.
Fit
It fits slim and slightly longer than you'd expect. I usually wear xl for outerwear but the large gave me a fitted look which I was completely fine with. As I don't have the jacket anymore, I can't
Durability
Pretty good, but one of the seams along the arms have a tiny rip, I'm not sure from what.... I fell a bit and there isn't any other damage or scuffs though.
Overall
I love this jacket as a technical jacket although the rip along the seams isnt a hard fix but it worried me a bit for such a top of the line jacket. It did do it's job of keeping the elements out though so that's cool. The fit is pretty true to size, although I had a large and would probably have been better with a xl for layering.
This thing is the definition of a technical coat. Taped seams, fully waterproof but breathable, tons of vents and well placed pockets. I skied in the rain for about 3 hours and still managed to stay bone dry.
Fit was great too - long enough but slim fitted.
The style/colour scheme wasn't for me but to each his own. If were just talking quality then this is a great choice.
