Nordica updated the Ace of Spades and renamed it the Ace 3 Star. It's progressive 130 flex gives you stability and control while the rubber middle strap gives the boot some softness for forgiving landings in the park. This 3 piece, 3 buckle boot is easy to put on, long lasting, and responsive. Super thick power strap adds upper leg stability, while the cushy liner adds comfort. Finally, the pant holder on the back keeps your pants up out of the dirt and mud, and prevents ripping from being stepped on or caught in bindings. An excellent boot for park rats who also like to ski hard outside the park.
I absolutely love these boots! They are very comfortable and look great. As soon as I started using these boots i stopped getting both shin, and toe bang. They are also super light which makes them nice for wearing them for long periods of time. The pant clip on the back seems like a little thing but it works great. Overall the boots are solid and i highly recommend them.
