The Smith Gage Helmet is a practicable, light fitting helmet. It fits the head comfortable with the padding in it, which is light inside the top, but heavy on the ears and neck. The padding is removable, and the helmet fits perfectly with most beanies underneath. It has adjustable straps under the chin and the ears, which allow for easy adjustment. The hard outer shell is durable, with a stiff inner shell that can take a good beating. The design is typically clean, and sleek, with no major art clashes. There is a clip that faces down to help secure the goggles to the helmet. It is compatible with most goggle types, but works and looks best with Smith goggles. Has audio capabilities for an additional fee, but is not a standard feature.

Super clean looking helmet, you can remove the ear pieces easily on warm days but they definitely keep you warm on cold days (i usually wear a headband under my helmets and this combo worked very nicely). also there seems to be a zipper along the headphone pads which could serve as a great stash spot for change or other things you don't want anyone finding.

Theres lots of inside padding to make it a snug fit, and although i did not try i'm sure if you take all the padding out or get a size up you can rock a hat under it.

I'm not a big fan of the visor style but for those who are, this is the cleanest designs iv seen with em. However the back clip is sort of a "hard" plastic which could pose problems later on, i have yet to find out.

all in all super solid helmet, definitely feels like it will protect me and my goggles if i fall.
