Basics: Have used these boots for 2 seasons now, and 1 full summer in the sweat and mud of the backyard, and they still have minimal damage. Right off the bat you will notice the easy entry and exit for the boot, l how they are lightweight and comfortable. The liners of these boots are as comfortable as slippers.
The Construction: The 3 buckles are easily adjusted and the power strap does a great job in keeping the top of the boot together. They are very lightweight and the liner itself almost weights nothing. As mentioned earlier the boot is made with quality construction. You are getting your money’s worth for sure with this boot. Long lasting, comfortable and ultimately prevents shin bang. These boots are also VERY warm. No shin-bang, no toe bang. The stock liner that comes with the boot is great for people who have wider feet. The toe area is wider than most boots. The liner is also designed to mold to your feet. I did not need to heat mold my boots. Tongues usually start at a #6 flex, which is medium. The tongue an easily be changed with any other flex. Full tilt is also very great at sending free parts needed when a buckle is broken and/or needs replacing.
Look: Full tilt went with a very old-school look with this year of boot. If you like the old style than it was perfect for you. I personally use mine without the cable covers, but whatever floats your boat.
Summary. Long lasting, helps fight shin and toe bang, comfortable and extremely warm. If you try on these boots and they feel right, they probably are.
