I got this jacket used through a trade here on newschoolers and so far I like it.
The good: This jacket is very waterproof and since I got the XL it fits like a tent. This means that I never have to worry about snow getting anywhere I don't want it It has a lot of large pockets making it easy to cary all my gear. It is a shell which means that I can choose how much to layer according to the temperature. I have used it in -40 F weather with a heavy flannel under it and been fine. The vents are also large and easy to use.
The Bad: I think the is jacket is kind of ugly but that is a very personal choice. The biggest problem I have is that the hood is not big enough to wear over a helmet which would be a plus on those cold days. The collar can also be irritating on my neck when it is zipped all the way up. My biggest beaf is that the two from pockets don't really drop down into the coat and that they unzip upwards, this means that if you have anything in them and unzip one everything will fall out. This didn't seem like a big deal until I lost my phoneme off the lift.
All in all this is a great coat for those days when I don't care how I look and just want to shred around in a waterproof tent
