I bought these pants at the beginning of the season and so far they have held up very well while doing a good job of repelling snow and keeping me warm and dry. I have fallen and rubbed them across dozens of rails and boxes and they did not rip nor show much marking from the impact, something that cannot be said for my Saga pants from 2 years ago that are almost completely shredded. They do a good job of blocking the wind and have kept me warm and dry while allowing my body to lose sweat through their very nice breathability. If you are in the PNW or other very wet climates they may not be enough to keep you dry but anywhere else they should be more than enough pant for your needs.
First and foremost, these pants are easily the best things to grace my gams in the winter. Comfy,stylish, just the right fit and plenty warm and waterproof. These things can stand up to a Minnesota winter which is a mix between 6 inches of fresh one day and negative 25 degree windchill the next. The vents are fantastic and keep you cool when needed without the pain of you needing to take your gloves off to zip 'em up thanks to the pull tabs on 'em. You never have to worry about getting the zipper unstuck either, these zippers are as smooth as butter. Need to stash your stuff? These things have pockets for all your storage needs. Want great customer service (Jim wrote me a handwritten letter thanking me for my purchase, such a great guy) and a great product, buy these pants. All in all, looking for pants? Look no further, these are the pants for you.
