Overall
They are obviously the best all mountain ski i have owned and i encourage anyone looking for a ski that can go anywhere they should get it.
Performance
They preformed great for me and my style of skiing. Which is basically build a kicker and hit it. and even though they are park skis they actually are decently wide to float in Alta POWPOW.
Design
I think they look great and the feel like a hand crafted guitar in santanas hands.
Value
STEAL! one year model old and $250! booyah
Fit
They fit excellent. I am 5'3" and they are 159cm and about a my eyes. Maybe could have gone longer but would be pretty long.
Characteristics
The flex is relatively soft in the front of the ski. Sort of stiff in back compared to the front. But you have to remember they are fujatives so the are soft. But i like the flex because they pop off jumps like no other.
Durability
They still look great but they are still pretty new only 6 months old
Overall
K2 makes a solid ski
Performance
Yes, its my favorite ski I've had for this cheap of a price, definitely worth the buy
Design
The graphics are intense, how they're picasso-ey but of a cop and prisoner
Value
one word: steal
Fit
I liked the fit of 169 last year, but i want a new size this year
Characteristics
it flexes when i hit the table or landing at a wierd angle, allowing me to not release from my bindings, and land, but sloppily, it also flexes while still having a stiff feeling when i'm in a sharp turn
Durability
it works the same as it did day one
Overall
if it could be a little bit more forgiving on the crappy snow, this would be the epidimy of perfect skis.
Performance
alas,i wish i could say this is the best ski of all time, but it perfect in the park, and only in the park.it is,however fat enough to plaow through powder.it is in cruddy, windblown snow where it tends to rattle you.
Design
the graphic could be better, but it has great feel and touch, making it a must-have for the all-park skier.
Value
it is definitely a steal.you could get some fresh armadas for 150 bucks more and have the exact value and quality the fujative has to offer.
Characteristics
this ski has good flex, but is just stiff enough to launch you with plenty of pop off your ollies.
Durability
this ski can take anything you can dish out.it feels a bit nerve racking when you lean back for fast, hard landings, though.it has a funny slapping soud=nd and can buck you,but overall it's a very tough ski.
Overall
sick ski for the price. super fun to fuck around on and just have a good time
Performance
amazing. boxes and rails are so fun with these. I had em mounted at core center on 169s. always fun. doing groomers was fine too. just crank your tunes louder so you cant hear them chatter. they held up pretty good in tree lines too. havent had a nice day with lots of powder yet though to try them.
Design
graphics first were sorta iffy for me but theyve grown on me alot and i enjoy em now quite a bit
Value
fucking amazing value. even if the camber goes after one season, theyre worth the cheap price
Characteristics
These skis were super super flexable. Very nice for jibs and butters. sorta worried about the camber since i hear alot about the camber on k2 stuff going quick
Durability
so far they have been pretty good. no peeling edges or delam issues. just again, the camber is one thing im worried about.
Overall
its ok...
I HEARED FOR THE 2008S THEY WILL NOT BE CHANGED!! IS THIS TRUE??
Performance
yes so far it has.
Design
the looks are great..
Value
good price.
Characteristics
ollie band is so much fun to play with!
Durability
ehhh... this is my first winter on them and i have a bunch of cracked edges!!!! so idk...
Overall
PERFECT for someone on a budget, or who just doesn't want to spend a lot of money but wants a quality product.
Performance
I rode these skis for the first time last weekend, and i got a chance to ride everywhere (groomers, pow, jumps, rails, trees, ect). They really do perform everywhere you want to take them (except maybe big Mt). For a cheap price, these skis combine every aspect of skiing as best as possible. Soft for butters, park, and pow, wide underfoot which is a definite plus for pow, fatty twins great for riding switch even in pow, i dunno, all i can say is that these skis are definitly legit.
Design
The look is pretty cool. I wasn't too fond of it when i got them, but k2 has their shit down, and i've grown to like the graphics. I have gotten a lot of comments from people who don't know much about freestyle skis about how sick they look.
Value
These were a definite steal. For $270, you're not gonna find anything better(not that you'd want to with these things).
Characteristics
The flex on these skis is one of the best features, they are soft. Not as soft as some skis, like the sir francis bacons, but they are damn soft. Pefect for butters all day, and great pop.
Durability
I can't comment on this yet, but i havn't heard of many problems with them from other people. Like i said, k2 seems to have their shit down.
Overall
Great ski for all aspects and affordable
Performance
The 06-07 Fujative kicks ass at any aspect. For park it has great pop capabilites and great flex in the nose for style and butters. For BC and Powder comes the width. The Nose half of the ski is fatter for floating on pow pow and for those harsh trails.
Design
The design on the K2 Fujative 06-07 comes from Pablo Picasso's Three Musiciancs, weird how I know that. I think the design looks amazing and adds to the skis style.
Value
This ski is a bargain, for under 400$ you are definately getting what you are paying for.
Characteristics
On the upper half (Nose) of the ski is where most of the flex occurs. The Aspen and Fir wood makes the nose extremely flexy but still stable enought to go anywhere on the mountain. In the tail it is a little bit stiffer for a maximum pop on to rails.
Durability
Through the abuse of urbans, rocks, spring and cement these skis held up for a whole season.
