Great Pants by a great company. They are very clean in any colorway. Nice and light like any shell pant should be. Quite durable, especially for a company only in their 2nd season of production, only a few nicks from ski edges on the reinforced bottom inside legs that don't look like they are going to rip further. Very stylie, Bloom in in right now. They can fit however you want depending on the size you get, but correctly sized they are not slim, not baggy, but normal and almost technical. The waterproofing and breathability is great at 20k/20k, zippers are sealed for the most part and leg zips work great. Because they are a shell pant, they can be as warm or cold as you want. The only complaint is that the material on the bottom cuffs get wet after a day of skiing, they are a different material.
Ratings:Finally decided to pick up a pair of pants from Jim over at Bloom Outerwear this year. All i can say is WOW! Extremely impressed with the quality, fit, and tech specs for the price of these pants ($189). The pants feature 20k/20k waterproofing/breathability rating which keeps you dry from all the elements without keeping the sweat in. I've gotten tons of compliments on the pants and the fit is perfect. Baggy enough to still hold true to that "hoodrich white suburban rich kid" look while not being over the top like a pair of parachute pants. With the light insulation of the pants, I stay warm like a polar bear at the equator even when it dipped below the 0 degree Fahrenheit mark on the thermometer and the vents on the inner thigh let you cool off for when it gets bluebird and 30 out. Overall, these pants are the best I've ever owned. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a great pair of pants for a good price and to support a really awesome company.
Ratings:Most durable pants I've ever had,I've put somewhere near 70 days on them so far and the cuffs only have a few small edge cuts in the extra protective layer there, none into the actual pants yet. Waterproofing is still 100% although it has been cold so far this winter and I won't know about slush until spring. The fabric feels tough to the touch, and will probably last well into next season at least.
The fit is smaller than I expected, I wear 30W32L jeans and size M fits about like regular pants so I would recommend L to anybody who is on the edge.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO EVERYBODY! Nice job Bloom!
