These gloves are extremely durable and warm. I have used these 2 seasons now, with a decent amount of my laps being on a rope tow. The glove is not extremely thick, although is very warm. Not the best glove for spring days, but this glove is perfect for most of your season;.
These are very simple, very cheap, very good gloves. I comfortably wear these with a thick liner from -10F to 10F, with a normal liner from 10F to 20F, and standalone from 20F to 40F. They are very waterproof, and barely get wet when dragged through the snow a lot, but you might want to reapply sno-seal at the beginning of every season/when needed. They are very simple; leather, elastic cuff, liner, no excess, no bullshit. They get the job done.
