This is a wonderful jacket by a great company. I think it is a very clean and well designed jacket with on par durability. This lightweight but warm jacket has a high cool factor. The sizing is a great ratio of tall and slim and can accommodate to your style depending on the size you buy. It is nice and breathable and holds up well to lapping a rail or hiking to a line. The wrists are a little tight and stuffy due to the wrist gaiters, but the gaiters help a ton when it is very snowy out and you don't want snow sliding down your arms. Due to its shell construction, it can be as warm or cold as you want it, that is the beauty of a shell system.
Overall a great jacket by a great company who does have a solid presence in the Newschoolers.com community.
I have the tan and black jacket, and its awesome. The fit is awesome, and Jim is a super cool guy. He'll help you out with anything you need. My jacket has two full seasons on it and still looks brand new. This thing has seen some serious abuse, yet still lacks a single flaw. The biggest problem with this jacket is that I have no excuse to buy a new one if there isn't anything wrong with this one!
This is a super light and stylish jacket. If you're not skiing in rain the jacket is almost completely waterproof. Not a busy jacket and pretty much as clean as it gets.
Just got done with an afternoon at snowbird with this coat. I'm a tall guy and enjoy a tall and relaxed fit. The bloom XXL this year is going to cover all of those needs for you giants! It comes with plentiful pockets, inside and out, including a fleece lined pocket by your heart for the electronics. Wrist gaitors and a pow skirt are included.
20k/20k waterproofing so you aint gettin wet!
2L ripstop nylon construction will keep unwanted snags and tears from occurring.
