These skis are pretty heavy, but they make up for it on rails as they perform great on rails and boxes. I would not recommend them on Jumps over 25 feet because they can get pretty unstable. They are also not good in pow or back country trails as they are hard to throw around.Overall a fun, poppy and buttery ski. I highly recommend these for urban and for rails.
Ratings:With the Afterbang, you pay for what you get. In my case, I knew I had a 400$ and as an advanced park skier, I was expecting a ski that wouldn't last that long. I skied with it about 15 times on my summer setup, and about 50 times on hill before I bought a new pair of skis. I could've still used them a couple of times more, but I had cracks in the sidewall (just like a skateboard), the edges under the boot were pretty much gone, which wasn't the ideal for locking onto rails, and the top sheat was all chipped, typical case for the Afterbang. I really liked the flex of the ski, as it's softer on the tip and tail, which makes it stable under foot and super poppy. Though one thing that really bothered me is the length, it isn't a real 177cm, it's actually an inch shorter, which felt a bit short for me, as I'm 5'11, and I like a long and stable ski.
Ratings:Love the design, but top sheet falls apart almost immediately, splinters and looks bad and just falls apart, over all fun ski but quality isnt there, went through 2 pairs in one season
Ratings:I bought these a year ago and wow. they have held up like some crazy mofos. They are (contrary to popular belief) the most durable skis I have ever owned. they are also way light and buttery. Perfect for spring park laps. Big ups LINE.
Ratings:If you intend to take this ski off jumps larger than 30 feet then definitely don't expect to stomp a lot of tricks. For rails and urban though the ski is on point. Hella poppy, light enough for quick swaps, and the butter zones are tight for well... buttering.
Ratings:The Afterbangs are a good ski for a modest price. Coming from Line you know you're getting a quality product. They are best for park but can tear it up on the rest of the mountain too. They come with razor sharp edge and obviously they're built like a skate deck. If you're looking for a good low to medium price ski the Afterbang is a very good option.
Ratings:Ok ski can take all around the mountain but ifeel like they get waterlogged alot and heavy. There not that poppy either but butters are fun.
