The 2013 Nordica ace of spades is directed for for that wide footed person, but don't put it past you if your foot is not. I don't have a wide foot at all but found these boots to be more comfortable than any of the full tilts I have tried on. This boot gives your foot tons of room compared to most boots, and I can honestly say after two years wearing this boot I have not once had shin bang. And can only recall having toe bang maybe 3 times.
Nordica definitely started pushing their freestyle products that year and it showed. The boot also has a clip on the back of the boot for if you have baggy pants you can lift back the clip and put your pants in there so you don't rip them when walking around.
The durability is surely another thing to take into account. After two seasons I've only had one of the buckles sorta break, meaning it was still usable and didn't need a replacement it just clips done kinda funky. And that's a very good thing considering the buckles on full tilts seem to break on people all the time.
Only thing I didn't really like was the color an design on the boot. But when you have your snow pants on you can't notice that anyways.
Basically just don't pass up this boot, even though the go to boots are full tilts this could be much more comfortable for you. Make sure to ask your boot fitter to see if they have a pair you can try!
My boots when cruising the park or shooting photos!
