The Salomon STH 16 is one of the most trusted and reliable bindings on the market. It's light weight construction mixed with it's durable driver toe make it a top notch binding. This binding is fully adjustable from toe height to wing adjustment to forward pressure track. It's easy entry makes it reliable for both groomers/park and powder runs. The only problem I had with these bindings was that the long heel mounting pattern lead to pull outs on more than one pair of skis after a season or so. Other than these are excellent bindings.
Ratings:The STH 16 is a staple binding that I have been using for years. It has the strong DIN range that you need as a heavier, aggressive skier and manages to pack that into a relatively light frame.
Like any bindings, crashing switch tends to give you brake problems and can lead to them ripping off.
I have always had Salomon bindings release when they are supposed to and stay on when they aren't.
