Overall
awesome skis! if you want a ski that is very nimble in the trees, can handle chopped up stuff and charge then look no further.
Performance
by FAR the best pow ski ive ridden so far. i rode it in pretty much any condition, and it far exceeded my expactations. in the deep untracked i thought that, due to the mellow rocker in comparison to the huge rocker of my hellbents, i might have some tip dive problems. but far from that! they float like a dream and its very easy to smear/pivot tight turns in the trees. i was able to go very fast through chopped up and wind blown powder with hard snow beneath and didnt really catch any edges. its definitely a charger ski but on groomers i could really carve hard turns when really leaning into the turn. i really liked their performance in the trees.
Design
these skis are sexy! matte black with a golden lion and graphics. definitely looks like a mens ski, without colorful graphics. the rocker is mellow and just continues into the tip. bases look nice too.
Value
i got them with a big rebate, but after having skid them i would also get them for the regular price. this skis are worth every penny.
Fit
being 6 ft 1 i got the 190 magic j which measures about to 187 cm. it seemed a little short for my likings in the beginning but after a day of shredding in variable conditions i did not actually need a longer length. the fact that they are so light is awesome. definitely a major plus.
Characteristics
Coming from k2 hellbents in 189, year 10/11 the armada magic js seemed significantly stiffer. its very stiff under foot but has butter points about where the rocker starts. i have not washed out so far on them but i havent got the chance to do big drops.
Durability
only had 1 day on them, just a few scratches in the base. durability seems good.
